The formal festivities will be held in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico on Saturday, March 21st with activities planned for the whole extended weekend. The closest airport is Cancun International, which is a roughly one hour trip from downtown PDC. If you have your flight info, we’d love to have it so we can start coordinating airport transportation and the like. If not, no problem! Just let us know when you do. We’ll be coordinating shuttles for folks to the best of our abilities, but transportation options from the airport are safe and plentiful and we’ll be providing a much more detailed guide when we get closer to the event.

We have hotel rooms rented for our guests from Thursday, March 19th to Monday, March 23rd and we hope you’ll be able to join us for at least that long. We’re out of the Mexico high season but still in spring break territory, so it might be more economical to fly in early or fly out late. If you’re planning to arrive before or after those dates, let us know and we’ll make sure your room is ready!

These are small boutique spots, not all-inclusive resorts, but we will be providing dinner most nights and an open bar for the duration of the trip. Restaurants, groceries, and every manner of retail shop are plentiful and within easy walking distance. Beyond booking your flights, don’t stress about what to do in Playa Del Carmen. For reference, the main venue will be Casa Central on 5th Avenue and everybody will be staying within a block of that space. When we get closer to the big day we’ll have an elaborate travel guide with tips, tricks, and all sort of handy info. Keep your eyes peeled!

In lieu of gifts, we are requesting that each guest contributes a small amount to help us offset the cost of our group accommodations. Our humble suggestion is $400 per couple, but if this isn’t in your budget the most important thing for us that you’re able to join. You’ll find a link to contribute at the bottom of this page.

We’ll be organizing a number of meals and activities throughout the weekend and want to leave plenty of free time for folks to explore, but for those so inclined we will be taking an optional catamaran excursion on Friday afternoon. The cost is $105 per person and includes food, drinks, and snorkeling…just let us know if you’re planning to join and we’ll reserve your spot!

Last but not least, we know that this is a big ask and we WILL NOT be offended if travelling to Mexico isn’t in the cards for you, but please let us know in a timely fashion so we can plan accordingly. Also, we (probably) love your kids, but with the exception of our family this will be an adults only affair. There are a lot of moving parts that aren’t particularly kid friendly and we would like everyone to be able to fully participate.
