ALL DAY (AND NIGHT) LONG

Fun In The Sun

Nearby Beaches

Getting to the beach is easy! Head south to Calle 10 (or north from Los Itzaes) and head toward the water. The beach space can be limited (especially during high tide), but beach chairs are available at many of the nearby restaurants with the purchase of a food or drink item. If you’re looking for more room, head south to Parque Los Fundadores a few blocks to the south for a more open area.

Playa 72

Looking for an adventure? Follow Avenida Quinta north past the developed area to Calle 72 for a quiet locals beach. You’ll find local vendors selling beer and micheladas and there’s a dog beach next door if you’re missing your puppies. Bring your own drinks and snacks! And note that the nearest OXXO doesn’t sell alcohol, but the one at Ave CTM does.

Beach Clubs

Looking for something a little more luxurious? Coralina Daylight Club and Mamita’s Beach Club on Calle 28. Both offer day passes for a fixed fee with some amount back as food and drink credit. Mamita’s is about $40 (with $30 back as credit)… Coralina is decidedly more expensive and reservable via Whatsapp.

Doing The Nightlife

Keeping It Chill

There are lots of chill places to grab a beverage in PDC! One of our favorites is Bar Loco, a second floor locals spot that overlooks Avenida Quinta. Looking for weird Mexican sing-alongs? Check out Sala de Despecho. Ya basic? You can go to Señor Frog’s, I guess.

In Da Club

Trying to do it up a little fancier? Calle 12 is the hotspot and home to Mandala, La Vaquita, and others. Most offer an all you can drink package or an a la carte option. Clandestino is the new kid in town and less than a block away!

Close to Home

If you’re looking to socialize but don’t want to deal with the hustle and bustle of the big city, our wedding bar at Casa Central is open 24 hours a day. Pour yourself a beverage and chill by the pool with our other guests!

Retail Therapy

Cuidado Con El Perro

Forget some basics or need a new pair of chunky whites? We always pop our heads into Mexico’s equivalent of H&M to see what’s new. Pick up something for the club or just some clean underwear…they’ve got it all!

Tequila, Tequila, Tequila

You can pick up all of your essential beverage needs at the nearby grocery stores, but if you’re looking for special bottle to bring home head over to La Europa. You’re allowed to bring back 1 liter of alcohol per person duty free!

The Essentials

For any  necessities we failed to predict, Walmart is just a few blocks away. Grab a hotel room snack, beach towel, or random souvenir. You’ll also find a million souvenir and trinket shops up and down 5th Avenue. You shouldn’t have any trouble finding whatever you might need!
